		<description>Thanks for the lead.  Turned out my version of the iPhone (3.0.1) wasn&#039;t supported by xcode.  On Apple&#039;s site there is a bulletin that advises running the following:

ln -s /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/3.0\ \(7A341\) /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/3.0.1

That did it.  Thanks again for this post.  It&#039;s great that knowledgeable people like you are willing to share.</description>
